Weekend Update

I went out Friday night for a few drinks from some places I'd heard of but hadn't yet been to. It's really nice to get to know Sarasota in a new way and find some favorite spots.  Of course there's the old favorites I squeezed in at the end of the weekend too.

Saturday I went to the fair in Tampa with some old and some new friends. I can't do all the rides like when I was a whipper snapper but I couldn't resist the mini roller coaster and ring of fire!  So fun and awesome view hanging upside down at dusk!

We ended up going to the Hard Rock Casino after the fair. It wasn't really what I expected.  It wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. There were endless slot machines and only a few tables and it could have used a bar or two.  Anyways, it was fun to watch the tables!

The weather has been so beautiful the last few days!  I couldn't resist the beach!  I went S. Lido on Sunday after sleeping in and resting up.  There's not so many people and more nature trails there.  I went a little later in the afternoon, laid out in the sun, and got to catch the sun set.

Painted red for V day but I've grown to love it for everyday, even chipped.

I love the pop of marigold! and I neeed to find someone with a kayak!

I think trees last longer than most things.
