Early Fall Dinner

Butternut squash soup with rosemary sprig

Sourdough toast with mustard, egg and veggie sausage

Sweet potato fries and cinnamon, ginger, raw sugar and sea salt

Veggie samosa and sweet potato pancake 

 

Topped off with a couple ginger cookies with a chocolate ginger candy and a glass of milk!

Lasagna Rolls w/ Pesto

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Lasagna Noodles- whole wheat

Pasta Sauce

Your fav. Italian cheese shredded

Ricotta cheese

Olive oil

Optional- sun dried tomato, pesto, black pepper

 

Steps:

 

1. Boil noodles al dente, drain, and add olive oil to coat

2.  Lay noodles flat, add a layer of ricotta and pesto

3. Sprinkle on sun dried toms and pepper if desired

4. Spoon on and spread pasta sauce

5. Sprinkle on shredded cheese

6. Roll up noodle

I used a muffin tin and cup cake liners to place the rolls into and baked until heated through out.

 

Delish!

 

 

 

 

 



Fav Bracelets

I had a couple bracelts I picked up from St. Armands about a year or more ago and love them.  I found a few more at a great shop, Molly's, and couldn't help my self from adding to the collection.

Nude and Gold Nails

Step 1:

Paint nails base color- Sally's Bandage

Step 2:

 Apply tape, or in my case a clearancce sticker, leaving tip of nail exposed.  Paint (Gold Coin by Revlon) and peel.  I'm not sure what the rule is on when to peel the sticker up.  I let it set for a couple mintues then peeled off.

Ta-Da

Lavender Bouquet

 Ingredients:

5 tbs Coconut oil 

2-3 tbs baking soda

2-3 tbs corn starch

several drops of lavender 

only a few drops of tea tree oil
